Lived here for some time, school taxes way above national average, the town once thriving is no longer the same, there are nicer towns going south along the rail but homes get expensive, north along the rail is a better option, or CT. A nice area that is 1 1/2 hr by train North of New York City. It is growing rapidly because of the cost of housing is becoming extreme as you get closer to NYC. It has a nice blend of city and country life. We enjoyed raising a family here.
