You will literally have to check your pulse and make sure you are still alive and breathing. The slowed down lifestyle here is so slow that you will think that you moved to some alternative universe.
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT MOVE YOUR FAMILY HERE if you care about your child or children's future (example: education, quality of life, culture, access to quality health care or a future job.) or you do not have a guaranteed exit plan.
Top 10 Reasons not to move to the Long Beach Peninsula and that Includes Ocean Park, WA:
1) Education, finally the local school passed the bonds. Yes, new schools are being built, but a new building does not mean that your child will get quality education. The decrease in the enrollment has recently shut the high school building down, consolidating everyone.
Is your child gifted? Have special needs? You better be independently wealthy so you can fight the schools for every resource they have b/c they will not
