About Salida's wind and weather. - 6/15/2007
The weather in the summer is wonderful, it will reach the low to mid 90's but there is absolutely no humidity, you can run around all day and not break a sweat. There is a wind that pops up in the summer every day, it seems to arrive around 2 PM and last for about 2 hours. I don't remember this wind being an every day thing in the fall, but with the fall arrives the first snows.
