What BestPlaces Users Say about Crestwood
Crestwood, Missouri is a small suburb located just outside of St. Louis. It has a population of around 11,000 people and is known for its scenic parks and well-maintained neighborhoods. However, it has received mixed reviews from residents, with some praising its family-friendly atmosphere while others criticize its lack of diversity and higher cost of living. Let's take a look at what some users have to say about living in Crestwood.
According to John M., "Crestwood is a great place to raise a family. The schools are top-notch and the community is very involved. There are plenty of parks and recreational activities for kids, and the overall atmosphere is very safe and welcoming."
On the other hand, Sarah T. shares a different perspective, stating "I've lived in Crestwood for 10 years and while it's a nice area, it lacks diversity and can feel a bit homogenous at times. The cost of living is also on the higher side, making it difficult for young professionals to afford."
Amanda K. had a similar experience, saying "I moved to Crestwood for work and while the neighborhood is pleasant, I found myself driving to St. Louis for more diverse options in terms of restaurants, entertainment, and people."
However, not all reviews were negative. Mark H. raves about his experience in Crestwood, saying "I absolutely love living in Crestwood. The community is so close-knit and there are always events happening in the parks. Plus, the location is perfect - close enough to the city but still far enough to have some peace and quiet."

Crestwood's Decline - 4/13/2012
Crestwood is a town in decline.. that has relied (too much) in the past on a booming shopping mall. The mall is now closed and the big
box anchors have left.
A large majority of the population is elderly as young people seem lothe to relocate or stay here.
There is a plan to 'rebuild'.. but is far in the future.
The administration in my opinion lacks the drive and transperency to be of any use whatsever.
Only blind luck will save this
