Omaha among the Best! - 8/13/2012
As a military guy, I lived on both coasts, as well as in the South and Midwest and I have to say Omaha (LaVista) is probably the best city I've lived in. Aside from not having a major sports team, aside from KC or MN, Omaha has very friendly people, as well as being the least expensive place I've lived. Your $ goes a long way. I'm hoping to move back there this year or next, but I will say Omaha is the only place where my wife and I will retire. Crime is non-existent in the LaVitsa/Papillion/Bellevue area, as well as NW Omaha. No other place I've been beats their education system. The economy is one of the best in the country.
