Great Place to Live - Low taxes, clean air, open s - 11/1/2009
I have lived in this township almost 30 years and have livd in may places through the USA when I was in the Air Force.
Upper Pittsgrove is a great place to live:
- not crowded
- you can ride bikes on country roads with your kids
- air is clean
- water is unpolluted
- taxes are the second lowest in the county
- and there are many working farms, orchards, and nurseries all around
This is in my opinion due to the wise leadership from committee members who grew up here and care about the comunity including preserving the farmland and installing solar systems on the township buildings to reduce costs and taxes.
And this is in a state where the state government has not helped local communities but rather has reduced aid and increased th tax burden on
