General Comment - 5/5/2007
Hastings on Hudson, NY, is a very attractive village to live in for a number of reasons. It is relatively near New York City so it is an easy commute by Metro North RR. There are a lot of cultural activities in the area as the river towns (incl Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Ardsley and Tarrytown) have a high level of collee educated people lively in the arts. In fact, the area has a reputation for being considered the "upper, upper west side of Manhattan", the artsy side of NYC.
Housing is expensive and taxes are high but that leads to excellent schools, some of the best in the state.
All in all, a nice place to live and best for Read More
