A community begging for attention - 5/21/2011
I am so sadened to see how my little town has deteriated down to just straight up neglect. The town use to be a thriving community with a few merchants, mainly a "grocery store". In this day and year, this town does not even have a grocery store. The nearest location to get fresh produce is nearly 8 "country miles down the road". If you don't have transportation you are in a pickle. This town has three merchants to survive on... A pharmacy..A liquor (ABC) store
..A Dollar General. The elementary school in town is K-8. Why is this town going to fail all those children coming out of school? Nutrition issues, health disparities. I am in search of resources and assistance to help this town gain a grocery store or at least have a farmers market Read More
