Nice Small Town and Growing - 5/21/2007
I have only lived here for four years, but I love this place. If you like outdoor activities, this is the place for you with fishing, boating, and the beach just minutes away. If you are looking for urban life, Greenville, the biggest city in Eastern Carolina, is just minutes up 264 and has all the shopping, entertainment, bars and restaurants you need and has the pride of Eastern Carolina with East Carolina University. The people here in Washington are friendly and have a lot of pride in this community. There are many other interesting things to do and see in downtown Washington and other nearby cities in Eastern Carolina.
