The Cruelest Town - 10/13/2021
We retired here 2 years ago. The lake is beautiful... but I have never experienced such extremely cruel people. Dogs are killed with hammers, left to starve in nearby fields. Back yard breeders neglect their dogs to the point where untreated fleas give the dog skin conditions that look like mange. I've been shocked by how rare wildlife is.. I have driven back roads to explore and have seen all of 5 deer . We are from the Chicago area and I used to see that many in a week. Someone even shot a nesting eagle.. I wish we could afford to move. If you're kind it's a very depressing
