A transformation has taken place in La Marque - 9/6/2010
La Marque is currently conducting a monumental turnaround to enhance its quality of life and reducing its crime rate. Our new Chief of Police is a tough crime fighter and besides introducing a great community policing effort an aggressive code enforcement program has been enacted. Also, traffic-free city is located just minutes from Galveston beaches and 28 miles from Houston (the fourth largest city in the nation). Shopping is is within minutes of the city and just incredible! Summers though hot come with a Gulf breeze and the winter season is generally mild. La Marque has a lot of good things happening at this time. Come and join us for retirement or whatever.
