Snail's Pace

Having resided in areas(central Jersey, Philadelphia suburb, Las Vegas, Boston MA) where breakneck speed is the method to survival, I quickly welcomed the snail's pace to existence in NE Connecticut! My home is actually very near to town center, but I'm surrounded by trees and wildlife! Solitude and deafening quiet!
A severe traffic jam consists of a small funeral procession parked at curbside on the main street. It may actually take one 2 minutes to pass by!
This area is known as "Connecticut's Quiet Corner" for a reason! Just like relatives at your home, we encourage visitors, but try not to outstay your welcome! Just kidding, however visitors soon recognize "the Quiet Corner" for what it is.
