I have lived here for over 22 years. Moved up from West Palm Beach, lived in Detroit and Chicago. The people here are peaceful and would do anything for you if you needed help. Like anyplace you relocate to you have get to know the place. Since I have lived here I have NEVER been broken into, no crimes and I live surrounded by beautiful mountains streams and trees. I love banjo music and country living Ellijay has been a blessing but I had to give it a chance. I'm glad I did, would not want to ever live in or around a big city.
