We have been living here for over 5 years. For the most part we like Livermore. It is a relatively clean city. The charming downtown is small, but it has many shops, eateries, and a theater. Occasionally, there's even live music outside. If it weren't for the downtown area, Livermore would be quite bland. It's generally a safe city. We haven't had any problems. However, there's been an uptick in police activity in and around our neighborhood(Springtown)since 2020. Traffic has increased, especially in the Springtown area. Livermore's climate is typically mild apart from the crazy hot summers. It is one of the Bay Area's hottest places in the summer. All in all, we think Livermore is a fairly good place to call home.
