If you really want to experience the true racist attitude then this is your place. The City COuncil condones their members calling those of the Hispanic heritage as "undesireables". The city council are all small minded people who think that they can do what they want because they are related to everyone else in town. One council member has not paid her property taxes in 3 years, another one is dyslexic and has admitted that he has not read the Milford City Code book, another council member is racist, and the Mayor is also an Ellis County Sheriff Deputy who throws his badge around to get what he wants. The Fire Chief is also a teacher at the school and has been accused on several occassions of hitting children in the head with his college ring and taking them outside and cussing them out, he also steals all the projects that the Agricultural Department design for school competitions, this same man has been made the building official for the city and has no ICC certifications nor has he been certified in the building inspection field. This man is pulling down 4 paychecks for these jobs. The Chief of Police claims that he would like to clean up his city and yet his stepchildren are some of the biggest drug users in town. They have a tendency to harrass those that do not comply with the good ole boy system. There are NO JOBS in Milford, there is NO STORE or GAS STATION in Milford, There is NO DOCTOR in Milford. We pay some of the highest property taxes in the state and receive nothing in return. There are no community functions. If you ask questions at city hall, nobody seems to know the answer. The police department carry 9mm assault rifles in their vehicles. There is no growth in this town and there will never be. It is turning into a ghost town, every third house is up for sale. I would consider moving to a war zone before I would move here again!!!!
