I grew up in Richardson.
Jessica Simpson grew up here.
Its a great place to live. The city is not as pretentious as some of its neighbors.
Fantastic schools that are some of the best in Texas, and a diverse population. The school district is considered one of the top 5 in the county when it comes to music education
Some of the area in Richardson aren't that great, but for the most part its a safe city.
The city is a major technology center with over 700 high tech companies located in Richardson such as Texas Instruments, Nortel, Fujitsu
