Ballard is the Banana Belt

Ballard has an unusually mild climate in Seattle due to its proximity to Puget Sound. Even when it is raining inland like Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, it can be sunny in Ballard.

As in all of Seattle, beware if you have Seasonal Affective Disorder.
