Too expensive for this type of city

The thing about the Smyrna/Vinings area is that you have some very nice areas, that are right next door to a very bad area. I just don't want to pay a ton of money to live in an area where my car has been broken into just dropping my son off at daycare, and my kids are actually the minority at school, and get physically abused because she has nice clothes, shoes, bookbags, etc... I would NOT recommend this area to anyone. If you have the money, move just a little closer towards Buckhead. Much nicer area...
