When people think of Oxnard they think strawberry feilds, farm crops...not necessarily beaches and harbors. This area has beautiful, uncrowded, clean beaches! The water quality is always rated an A or B, which is hard to get these days. Also, SilverStrand Beach is one of the best surfing spots in So Cal! SilverStrand Beach has some of the best buys in beach real estate in Southern California. Try getting a home with an ocean view and a few houses off the sand anywhere else in So. Cal. for under $1 & 2million. There are great restaurants closy by and lots to do!(Downtown Ventura's Main Street and Seabridge Shopping Center and others off of Victoria Ave. have new restaurants and gyms) If you want to get away from the crowds in L.A. then come to Ventura County(Oxnard/Channel Islands Beach & Harbor is only 60 miles to L.A. between Santa Barbara and Malibu).
