Great kite flying location! - 3/17/2021
This place is really windy, like Wyoming windy. Tourism has made it too busy in the summer and the winters are long and really windy. It is a VRBO Mecca though, so If you like staying at a place that costs the same as a hotel but does not make your bed every day, all while experiencing the neighbors resenting you for treating their neighborhood like a local La Quinta, this a great place to enjoy the wind. There are now over 3 places to get a $20 hamburger and they have built a hipster overflow area called South Main to alleviate the influx of poor drivers from the front range and Texas.
