Moving - 5/19/2009
Living in a condo or co-op is a nightmare. The associations hold owners hostage with their fees and restrictions. Even when they break their own rules or steal money there is no justice from the county or state officials.
The weather is great if you like hot and humid half the year and rain, you have to like rain.
Traffic is a nightmare, but every city has that problem. Excellent Public Transportation. Cost of living is crazy high.
South Florida has wonderful public parks. Clean, well maintained and safe.
Schools.....the reason we left the state. Senior citizens don't vote for school taxes, so there is no hope for the education system. People say put your kids in private school. The private school teachers make even less then the public.
