Why Marco island may or not be a place for you - 8/5/2017
In my experience living here in Marco is the pride we take to maintain our pristine community. Snowbirds and families whom vacation (in season) tend to enjoy and respect our beauty. Here is a place where neighbors know neighbors and frequently will always acknowledge each other and out of towners with a friendly wave, hello and/or guiding hand.
Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends tend to be times where Floridas East Coast residents tend to visit. Unfortunately, observations include, disrespect for residents, land (trash) and loud music.
I suggest potential guests to Marco research our Island and thoroughly consider if this is a destination that will be a fit for you, friends and/or family. If not, you may want to consider elsewhere as your vacation would not want to be a disappointment.
