Love my Island. I found a place I feel at home in. On the the waterways near the Atlantic Ocean. Its teaming with life. Sunny days are long. beaches are fabulous. The people are real,contemporary American type,as a general rule. Homes are affordable, Taxes with in reason. My Son college bound son likes Merritt Island High. A Job wasn't hard to find. Life is Good

This area is getting more and more congested but is still a true Florida experience with the ocean just a bridge island hop away. I would advise caution walking alone just about anywhere in the area though as the crime rate is pretty high. Rents are going up
