Hampden - 2/2/2009
Hampden is a blue collar mostly white enclave in the center of black Baltimore. It's funky and individual. Lots of neat artistic people. Beware the old-timers who can be racist and often seem to embody white trash essence. On the other hand there is no real violent crime. Much safer than most of Baltimore.
