Living the dream in Henderson, Nevada - 8/14/2020
I did the homework for the neighborhood we moved to here in Henderson, NV. Low crime rate and conveniences made our decision to buy in the Paradise Hills just south of the 515. Gorgeous mountain views and being elevated above the Vegas skyline are a positive. I am now paying less than 20% of what I was paying for homeowners insurance when I was living just off the beach in Florida. Neighborhood is full of retirees like myself who watch out for each other and very friendly. The Vegas/Henderson area has professional sports which include the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team, the Henderson Silver Knights minor league hockey team and now the Las Vegas Raiders pro football team. A short drive down to the strip and we can watch all the headliners for concerts and shows which I am a big fan of. If you want nature, Lake Mead is a short drive down the road along with Red Rock Canyon and of course the Colorado River. Several National Parks within a few hours drive too. We could not have been
