If you like brand new area - 10/26/2009
Newport in Jersey City is an relatively new developed area (1990 or newer) with multiple residential highrises among the business communities. Commute to downtown or midtown Manhattan is easy and short though becoming as crowded as the NYC Subway system.
The area lacks the residential charm but is close to the water so that is the trade off.
