Clovis is NOT a good place to live. - 4/8/2024
Having been here almost since I was born, I can tell you that Clovis is NOT a good place to live. I saw several other ratings that mentioned how people here don't like "outsiders" and are rude. It isn't just new people. The people here do not treat people from here nicely either, it's why I don't leave my house.
You've already read that it smells bad, looks bad, and has horrible healthcare. Every single one of these is true. Medical care is especially heinous, and I personally have been gaslighted by medical providers here and no longer trust any of them, even as primary care physicians only.
What I haven't seen mentioned is the lack police work.. They do NOTHING about real crime, but have charged people with crimes falsely because someone in the police department is trying to get revenge. I've seen it, more than once. The people here are likely to vote "guilty" without anything at all having been proven to them. People here are hateful, period. Of
