Livability - 12/27/2017
The St. George area boasts an overall superior quality of life for its residents. 1. Terrific year round weather that can be changed any time of the year with a 30 minute automobile ride either to the near by mountains in the heat of the summer or south to Las Vegas in the winter. 2. Amazing scenery virtually surrounded by world class national and state parks with in about 30 minutes drive. 3. Incredible health services with renowned cardio, neuro, oncology and many other specialty health treatments and surgical specialists on staff. (a recient $300+M expansion), 4. New regional air port with non-stop jet service to LA, PHX, DEN and SLC. 5. Virberant Arts community that boasts a symphony orchestra, many fine civic and private museums and arts fairs 6. Large indoor and out door sports and swimming complexes, 7. a Dozen local golf courses 8. Indoor malls as well as numerous "factory outlet and other strip centers" 9.
