Ferry County is located in northeastern Washington state along the Canada鈥揢S border. Its total area is 1,819 square miles and it has a population of 7,200 people as of 2019. The county seat is Republic with other small towns included Inchelium, Curlew and Danville. The county includes three national forests鈥擪aniksu National Forest, Colville National Forest, and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest鈥攁nd several scenic areas such as Kettle River Wildlife Area and Tea Creek Recreational Area which are popular for activities like camping and hiking.
