Viroqua, Wisconsin is a small town with a population of just under 4,000 people. Despite its size, the town offers an excellent education for students. Viroqua has two school districts that serve the city鈥檚 residents: the Viroqua Area School District and the Stoddard-Bergen-Carson Area School District. The latter is one of just 16 districts in Wisconsin to be rated as 鈥淓xcellent鈥 by the state Department of Public Instruction. Students here enjoy a wide variety of educational opportunities including advanced placement courses, college and career readiness programs, and fine arts and athletic activities. The schools also offer a variety of extracurricular activities that help students develop their interests and skills outside of the classroom. In addition to these offerings, local businesses also partner with the schools to provide learning opportunities such as internships or job shadowing experiences.
