Stanton township (Stanton County), KS is a small rural community located in the north-central part of the state. It has a population of 1,642 and a population density of 8 people per square mile. Despite its size, the town offers plenty for locals to do throughout the year.
For starters, there are many local businesses that serve the community including Little's Grocery Store, Stanton Hardware Supply, and The Coffee Pot Cafe. For those looking for fun outdoor activities, there are plenty of opportunities for fishing and hunting throughout the year as well as camping and hiking in nearby parks like Cedar Bluff State Park. The town also has an active volunteer fire department dedicated to keeping residents safe. Additionally, they host an annual community festival with food vendors and live entertainment every summer.
