Loco Hills, NM is a small community located in the northwestern portion of New Mexico. With a population of just 53 people, this rural town has a population density of 24 people per square mile- significantly lower than the US population density of 93 people per square mile. Year-round outdoor activities in Loco Hills include camping, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking on the local trails. The Loco Hills Community Organization works to improve quality of life for all residents through educational programming and recreational opportunities. Each year they hold events such as the Summerfest BBQ & Dance Party. Loco Hills also hosts an annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament that attracts teams from across the state.
