Cementon, NY is a small village located in Broome County. With a population of only 253 people and a population density of 28 people per square mile, it is an ideal setting for those who want to experience the peace and tranquility of rural life. The village offers a variety of year-round outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, skiing and snowmobiling. There are several local businesses including Forest City Inn & Suites, Cementon General Store & Deli, Cementon Diner and the Cementon Dairy Farm which provides fresh milk and eggs. The town also has several organizations such as the Cementon Fire Company and the Cementon Cemetery Association that provide services to their community members. Every year in June they host the popular “Yard Party on Main Street” that includes live music and food vendors from all over Broome County. Local sporting events include annual softball tournaments, fishing derbies and 5K runs.
