Sauk Prairie, ND is a small town with a total population of only 26 people. Despite its size, the town offers a variety of amenities and activities for its residents and visitors alike. There are year-round outdoor activities in Sauk Prairie as well; some popular choices include fishing on Big Lake, hiking on local trails, camping in nearby campgrounds, and snowmobiling in winter months. The community also offers various organizations such as the Sauk Valley Area Players theatre group, Rotary Club of Sauk Valley District 5890, and other non-profit clubs that host events throughout the year. Each spring brings a sporting event to Sauk Prairie: The Annual Spring Fishing Contest which draws participants from all over North Dakota.
