Cross Plains Village, WI is a beautiful small village located in Dane County with a population of 4,070. It has a population density of 2,442 people per square mile which is higher than the US Population Density of 93 people per square mile. Cross Plains offers many local businesses for residents and visitors to explore such as the Cross Plains Pharmacy, The Pond Hockey Club, and the Gressman Orchards. There are plenty of year-round outdoor activities to enjoy such as fishing and kayaking on the nearby Lake Kegonsa State Park, biking along the Military Ridge State Trail or camping in one of the many state and county parks. Other organizations within Cross Plains include Arts Association for Cross Plains (AACP) which promotes art culture in the area, 4-H Clubs providing educational programs for kids and teens, and Farmers Markets throughout summer and fall. For sports enthusiasts Cross Plains has several teams that compete in soccer, football, baseball, softball and basketball events at various locations all over Wisconsin.
