Bucks, AL is a small town located in the southern part of Alabama. The area has a long history of Christianity and there are several local religious congregations that serve the needs of the local community. Among them are Primitive Baptist, Methodist and Presbyterian churches, as well as nondenominational churches. The local congregations regularly hold services on Sunday mornings during which members of the community can come together to worship and pray for their spiritual guidance and strength. Additionally, special services such as baptisms, confirmations, weddings and funerals are offered by many of these congregations. Aside from regular church services, many churches also offer educational opportunities through bible study classes or children's Sunday school programs.
