Watersmeet, MI is a small town in Michigan鈥檚 Upper Peninsula, located near the Wisconsin border. The area is known for its abundance of forests, lakes, and rivers. Despite its small size and rural location, Watersmeet does contain religious congregations for those who wish to practice their faith. There are two churches that call Watersmeet home; First Lutheran Church of Watersmeet and St. Mary鈥檚 Catholic Church. These churches bring comfort and community to many local families in the area. First Lutheran Church of Watersmeet has been around since the 1940s and offers services on Sundays at 9am as well as Wednesday evening activities for youth and adults. St. Mary鈥檚 Catholic Church was established in 1844 and provides weekly Masses on Saturdays at 4pm and Sundays at 9am, along with Bible study groups throughout the week. Both churches are important parts of the community in Watersmeet; providing solace, support, fellowship, and hope to all who attend their services.
