Smiths Station, AL is home to several high-performing schools, including Smiths Station High School, which is rated as one of the top public schools in the state. The school district also includes Auburn Junior High School and Smiths Station Elementary School. All three of these schools offer a variety of educational opportunities for students to pursue their academic goals. There are Advanced Placement classes and dual enrollment programs available at all three of these schools, allowing students to begin taking college classes while still in high school. Smiths Station High School has a particularly strong athletic program with teams competing at the national level for various sports.
