Niwot, Colorado is home to some of the most highly rated schools in the state. With a small population of around 5,500 people, the Niwot community is focused on providing excellent educational opportunities for their students. The local school district covers four schools: Niwot Elementary School, Thunder Valley K-8 School, Sunset Middle School, and Niwot High School. All four schools have earned favorable ratings from both parents and educators alike. Each school offers an array of programs and activities for its students to participate in, including music ensembles, art classes and sports teams.
