Galesburg, Kansas is a small town with a population of about 500 people. Despite its small size, it boasts an impressive selection of schools for children of all ages. The local school district consists of two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Each school is highly rated and provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the future. The elementary schools work hard to ensure that students understand the basics such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. At the middle school level, students are introduced to more advanced concepts such as foreign language, art classes, music courses, and technological literacy. Finally at the high school level, students can choose from a range of course offerings including Advanced Placement classes that will help them prepare for college-level courses should they decide to pursue higher education. In addition to class offerings at each grade level, Galesburg also provides extracurricular activities for students including sports teams and clubs such as the Future Farmers of America (FFA). All in all, Galesburg offers an excellent education system for its residents to take advantage of.
