Virgil, KS is a small rural town located in south-central Kansas. The schools in Virgil are part of the USD 445 school district and provide a quality education for the local students. At any given time, there are around 400 students enrolled in the district. The schools offer a variety of courses and activities to help foster an enjoyable learning experience for all grade levels. The main focus is on preparing students for college and/or career paths that will allow them to succeed after high school graduation. In addition to academics, extracurricular activities such as music, art, and sports are offered throughout the year providing plenty of opportunities for students to explore their interests and hobbies. Furthermore, each school has been independently rated to symbolize its success in educating its student body. These ratings can be viewed online or through reports provided by the district office typically at the end of each school year. Overall, Virgil's schools strive to provide their students with a challenging and well-rounded education that allows them to excel both academically and socially after they leave high school.
