Dent, MN is a small town located in Otter Tail County. With a population of just over 650 people, Dent is an intimate yet vibrant community. The public education system within Dent is overseen by the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy School District which serves students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Within the district exists several elementary schools including Dent Elementary, Hillcrest Lutheran School, and Summit Academy Charter to name a few. High schoolers can attend either Hillcrest Lutheran Academy or Summit Academy Charter for their secondary education needs. According to GreatSchools ratings, all of the elementary schools rank above average while Hillcrest Lutheran Academy and Summit Academy Charter rank slightly below average.
