Lorain, Minnesota is a small town with a population of just over 600 people. Despite its size, the town boasts an impressive array of educational opportunities for its residents. Lorain Public Schools provide excellent educational services to the community and have earned an exemplary rating from the Minnesota Department of Education. The district consists of three local schools; a K-2 elementary school, a 3-6 elementary school and a 7-12 secondary school.
