Harvey Cedars, New Jersey is a small borough situated on Long Beach Island. With a population of just over 500 permanent residents, it is an extremely tight-knit community. The public school system in Harvey Cedars is highly rated and well respected within the community. There are two schools located in the borough: Harvey Cedars Elementary School and Southern Regional Middle School.
