Hiddenite, NC is a small town located in western North Carolina. Its schools are part of the Alexander County School System which serves about 5,100 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. In Hiddenite, there are two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. All of the schools in Hiddenite have been rated favorably by the state Department of Public Instruction. The curriculum at each level emphasizes rigorous instruction and also offers many extracurricular activities such as band, chorus and sports. In addition to offering a comprehensive education program, local community organizations provide financial assistance for families who wish to send their children to private schools outside the county system. As a result, many students have access to excellent learning experiences regardless of what school they attend in Hiddenite.
